"Canceling took a little longer than I expected"
I used Steady for a little while and it was fineee for the most part, but canceling wasn’t super obvious to me. I ended up clicking around more than I expected and checking my email just to make sure it actually went through.
Support did get back to me, which definitely helped, but the whole thing felt a bit more annoying than it needed to be. Not awful or anything, just kind of average for me.
"Payout was slower than I hoped"
The app itself was fine for the most part, but the payout took longer than I expected. I kept checking to see if the money had come through, which got annoying after a while, not exactly my favorite way to spend the day. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, I just wish the payment showed up a bit faster.

"Some gigs were useful, others not so much"
I’ve used Steadyapp a bit to look for extra work, and it’s been alright overall. I did come across a few jobs that seemed like they could work for me, and maybe a couple were actually decent. But a lot of the listings felt kind of random, either not really matching my experience or being farther away than I’d want. I’m not totally sure if that’s just my area or the app in general, but it would definitely be better if the results felt more relevant.

"Helpful app, but I feel dumb for trusting it too much"
I used Steady for a while hoping it would help me find some decent extra gigs and side work. The app itself is easy to use, and to be fair, a few of the listings were actually helpful.
But after spending time on it, I kind of felt stupid for trusting it as much as I did. Some stuff didn’t seem very up to date, and a few offers were way off from what I was looking for. You really have to dig around and double-check things yourself.
Overall, it’s okay, but it didn’t really change much for me. It gave me a few ideas, so I’ll give it credit for that, but I definitely wouldn’t expect too much from it. 3 stars feels about right.
"It got fixed, just not as fast as I hoped"
In my experience, support did end up fixing the issue, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, it took a few back-and-forth messages and felt a bit slower than I expected. I’m glad it worked out in the end, but I personally wish the process had been quicker.

"Numbers didn’t add up for me"
The app kept saying I’d save money, but the numbers just didn’t feel right based on my situation. I also got frustrated because there were too many steps just to get to that point, and after all that, I still didn’t really trust the estimate...

"I tried getting my account verified and honestly..."
I tried getting my account verified and honestly??? It just kept sending me around in circles. I uploaded the stuff they asked for, waited, and then got basically no clear update or real help. Support was super slow too... and not very useful, unfortunately. Since I couldn’t really use the app while all this was happening, the whole thing just became annoying fast!!! Definitely not worth the headache for me

"Really depends on your area"
Steady isn’t terrible or anything, but it’s kind of frustrating where I live because there just aren’t many jobs showing up. I found a couple of leads, but nothing that really felt worth getting excited about. I can see it being a lot more useful if you’re in a bigger city, but for me it just felt limited. Not totally useless, just not much to work with.

"Subscription was pointless"
I paid for the subscription and got almost nothing out of it. It felt like one of those silly little services that sounds useful at first but ends up being a total waste of money. Definitely not worth it for me.

"Couldn’t even get through setup"
I tried to make an account, i don’t think I was doing anything wrong. I got stuck on the same verification step twice, the app just kept loading, and then it hit me with a “something went wrong” message. Frustrating for a first impression. I gave up for now because there’s only so many times I’m going to retry the same step

"Not really much money to make here"
I tried steadyapp.com hoping it would help me find some decent side money, but most of the offers I saw paid low or just didn’t feel worth the time.
A lot of it sorta felt like surveys, sign-ups, or jobs I probably could’ve found on my own. Maybe it works better for some people, but for me the earning potential was disappointing
"I’ve used Steady for a little while and..."
I’ve used Steady for a little while and it did point me toward a few income ideas that were actually useful, so I can’t say it’s a bad app. But the more I got into it, the more uneasy I felt about the data side. It asks for a lot of personal details and wants bank connection access, and while I understand why that might be necessary, it started to chip away at my trust a bit. I just wish they explained what they collect and how it’s protected in a more straightforward way. It’s not awful, but I don’t feel completely comfortable using it.

"It works, but it’s a little clunky"
The app does what it’s supposed to, but yeah, it can be kinda confusing at times. I had to poke around a bit to figure things out, so it’s okay overall, just not the smoothest to use...

"Not really built for remote work"
I was hoping to find more remote opportunities here, but reading between the lines, it seems like this is mostly geared toward local gigs. There are some listings, but if you're specifically looking for remote work, you might have to dig a lot or look elsewhere...

"I tried to apply, but the forms..."
I tried to apply, but the forms kept sending me in circles and I couldn’t really tell what I was supposed to do next. Maybe I missed something, but from my side it felt confusing and way more stressful than it needed to be...

"I’ve been trying to use Steady for..."
I’ve been trying to use Steady for about a week now, and I don’t know why, but the app just keeps bugging out on me. Some pages won’t load, the login screen just spins forever, and a few jobs I saved randomly disappeared. I tried updating the app and clearing the cache, but it didn’t really fix anything. Support took a while to get back to me too, so right now it just feels like more hassle than it’s worth.
"Payments are somehow always late??"
I’ve had payouts miss the expected date twice now, and I don’t get it?? Every time I reached out to support, they just kept giving vague answers and buying time instead of actually fixing anything

"The terms really weren’t clear to me..."
The terms really weren’t clear to me from the start, and once I noticed the hidden details, I got frustrated quickly. I tried getting answers, but it felt like I kept being passed around instead of getting a straight explanation. In the end, I just canceled.

"Seems legit, but I’m not totally sure it’s worth it"
I used Steady for a little while, and from what I could tell, the offers seemed real and not sketchy or scammy. Some of them were actually useful, but others felt like they probably weren’t worth the time, especially with the smaller payouts. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I thought there would be a bit more value there. I’d say it’s fine as long as you read the details carefully first...

"Notifications felt pointless"
The alerts were more annoying than helpful. Half the time they showed up late, and the rest of the time they were for stuff I didn’t even care about. I kept checking the app thinking something important happened, but nope. When I looked into it, it felt like the usual “that’s just our policy” kind of excuse, which made it even more frustrating. I ended up turning the notifications off.
